Casa Do Manuel Apartment - Santana (Madeira)

Apartment was beautiful, bed was big, we enjoyed it. Room was well-appointed, bathroom was excellent. Everything was simply perfect. Manuel was the best host ever. Its location was exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect, so close to Santana, and Santana town center.

I had a blast exploring hiking trails and cycling around. The airport shuttle service was a nice touch. And oh, don't forget the refreshing natural swimming pools nearby!

It's such a shame that I didn't get a chance to enjoy the patio, but hey, who needs fresh air anyways?

The host, Manuel, was friendly and provided valuable information about the area. The facilities were excellent, and I regret not being able to stay longer to fully enjoy them. This place is definitely worth considering for a longer stay and as a base for exploring the area.

One minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning in the apartment, quite hot during the night. We had to ask for directions and even then, we were a bit unsure as the hotel is hidden on a main road.

I got so much value for my money at Casa Do Manuel. The room was super clean, modern, and fully equipped. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The location in a quiet area of Santana was perfect, and I loved spending time on the terrace and in the garden.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

I loved hiking and cycling nearby, and the property even offered a paid airport shuttle service. The apartment had a lovely patio where I could relax and enjoy the views. And oh, the Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools were just a short 46 km away, what a convenient distance!

My, oh my, there was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this place. It was just too perfect for my taste!

The flat was in good condition, clean, with good Wi-Fi and a range of amenities. The view from the small patio overlooking the serene landscape of green hills was pleasant. The location was quiet and just a short walk to the town. It was also close to some beautiful hiking trails.

The weather was wet during our stay, which limited our outdoor activities. The tricky entry by car was also a bit challenging due to the sloppy road and sharp turns near the gate.

On the positive side, the location of the accommodation was great, situated close to the beach and Santana town center in a quiet street. It was also conveniently located near the bus station, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. Additionally, the nearby hiking trails provided ample opportunities for outdoor activities.

The lack of communication from the owner and the lukewarm showers were major disappointments. The mould problem in the kitchen and the moody behavior of the owner also added to the negative experience.

This was our best accommodation in Madeira. Manuel is a great, helpful host. The studio beds were comfortable, the shower splendid, facilities great and the views were the best. Moreover, it wasn't humid at all. Manuel had a dehumidifier going when we arrived. We also loved the sorting waste opportunities and the possibility to get a bucket for food leftovers for hens. If we knew about this place sooner, we would have definitely stayed longer.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and their dogs were adorable! The flat was in perfect condition, with excellent Wi-Fi, and a wide range of amenities. The small patio overlooking the vegetable garden and serene landscape of green hills was a peaceful addition. The location was great for exploring the North part of Madeira, with plenty of hiking routes nearby. The apartment was spotless clean and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Manuel and his wife were lovely and even provided fresh vegetables from their garden. it was a cozy, clean, and comfortable stay with all the necessary facilities and a helpful host.
